First Candidate

The first ever US vice presidential candidate who is black AND female AND Indian-American…something amazing and new, and evidence that popular opinion can and does change, albeit so slowly we think it’s often backwards. As my children grow, will we see more openness, more receiving and welcoming? I can only hope so.
