This is a fun game borrowed with respect from indigenous culture. I have found variations of stick games in multiple cultures. In this game, create/mark the sticks or rocks or markers, then toss, and see what lands.
Here is a mindfulness version: mark each with an emotion, sound, sight, smell, memory, etc – whichever one is up, mention what you notice NOW. (to gamify it further, keep the ones you’ve done)
And a math version: you could also get points by fraction – 1/6 etc.
When teaching things from other cultures, be sure to mention where it came from, and honor your sources, the people who developed it, and acknowledge the fact that it is possible/likely that these traditions were stolen from them.
