"Chiglabaku baadi!" Lila whispered conspiratorially, brandishing her wand. Dylan nodded seriously. "Issa mussa," he agreed, stuffing more fabric into his bag. I giggled, and was met with a reproachful glance. "Alakalula!" Lila chanted at me, and I was silenced. I was rewarded, later, by a wet kiss and "Love you, Mommy," from both.
