Yoga Pipe cleaners

To have even more fun in class:

Grab a pack of pipe cleaners (or better yet, reuse some old ones from other crafts! or, if you have the patience, make your own).

Each student makes a pose with the pipe cleaners.

Then you pass them around and try the poses out.

Ask: how is the pipe cleaner similar to the real body shape? What makes it different?

You can continue the game by having each student then change the pipe cleaner shape, and then pass again.

End with everyone making a sitting down or lying down pose for mindfulness. The pipe cleaner can lie on the chest or belly as the breath makes it rise and fall.
