Remember that the "brain" is wider than just what is inside your skull, but also connections with your tongues and hands. For example, Why do we stick our tongues out when concentrating? Many of my family members do, and I notice it in myself. This is also relevant in singing, mudras, concentration, linguistics, motor skills.

Your body, too, participates in fear and anxiety, and also in grief, widening the reach of the brain.
